Its marketplace, OTTO Market, also lets other sellers list their products.
How to buy from OTTO
- Search for the product you want, in German.
- Choose the products you want to buy.
- Register on the site or check out with another option it offers, such as a PayPal account.
- Enter your delivery address, in or outside Germany, and check that OTTO accepts it.
- Prices are shown in euros.
- After you pay, OTTO ships the order and sends a tracking code to your email.
Sell on OTTO Market
Sellers can list products on OTTO through the OTTO Market program. To apply, go to the OTTO Market page and fill in your personal and brand information.
Return policy
OTTO lets you return an order if you are not satisfied. Check the return period and who pays for return shipping on the OTTO service pages before you order, especially for bulky items. To start a return, log in to your account on the OTTO website:
- Log in and click “My Requests”.
- Click “more information”, then “return”.
- Select a reason for the return and click “Register Return”.
- Hand the parcel to the shipping company that delivered it and ask them to send it back.
The refund can take a while to arrive after you return the item.
Offers and payment options
OTTO runs offers and discounts on clothes, watches, smartphones and other products. It also offers instalment payment; the terms and interest differ by plan, so read them before you choose one. New accounts may get a welcome discount, and OTTO sometimes sends discount codes by email and in messages, so check your inbox.
